Electra was founded in 2015 by Fabrizio Martini, along with peers from the supercapacitor industry, promising a new paradigm for energy storage technology. In 2016, Electra participated in the MassChallenge startup accelerator, making it to the Top-26 as a finalist and validating the first EVE Controls using a bench prototype. Electra is now looking to the future and working to expand into new and emerging markets with a constantly improving self-learning algorithm that is addressing the performance limitations of existing energy storage technology for all industries.
